Or perhaps in Slytherin
You’ll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
To achieve their ends.

I used to wear horns regularly in uni made of sculpey clay, cloth with wires, or fimo. For all you Homestucks, this is a very good way to wear troll horns that don’t have an obvious headband.

I personally use the long, thin, black elastic that you can buy in fabric stores or Daiso and tie a friendship bracelet type knot to make a headband (without the knot stoppers near the horns). I’ll post a personal pair later.

The result is an “invisible band effect.” No conspicuous headband. The horns look like they’re growing out of your head, if you style your wig/hair to go over the thin elastic. Use black hairpins to keep the clay horns from sliding down, and to pin the elastic to your wig. Here’s a great tutorial:

Holly Rocks Jewelry Horn Tutorial

Middle 2: If you would rather have them custom-made, I discovered an Etsy Shop called KantiKane. She can customize these style horns for you, and they look fantastic for the price ($20-$80). The $30 gazelle horns would be great for Gamzee.

The Aradia type horns are here, by Ulltotten. She used a shoelace, but I myself would use a thicker elastic, like the kind you use in the waistband of pants or skirts.

This is a nice alternative to the headband for those who don’t want to attach your horns to your wig but also hate how headbands look (like I do.)
